Busted 21 years of life

Aristocratic nair tradition in malabar is that they are not supposed to eat beef. Since time moved on, there happpened to be less count in non beef eating nairs and started to cook at home as well. But, some families still stand up for their rich so called traditions and beliefs. No offence but i was born in that kind of family. (Hey i heard you! We donot eat red meat but that doesn’t mean we are sanghi).

When i said “amma i wanna try beef” she replied “i cant believe you actually came out of my womb!”. Supprisingly sometimes i feel the same too, so i just kept my mouth shut.

My worst fear is that when someone brings me nice, tender and juicy beef and i want to eat all at a glance but can’t because my brain blinks poor little cows of my neighbourhood and how much i loved them. Oh! Fuck memories! All i do is just stare others eat and how they enjoy it. Beef! Oru vikaram! Why in the name of god i am not getting that vikaram?!

After series of brainwash and advices i decided to do it(it took several months or maybe years). All i had to do is start from good source. Since beef is not allowed in my home ( i repeat that we are not sanghis) obiviously i had to go out. I picked up one epic beef apetite which everybody said heavenly. Yeah beef roast and porotta. Next was picking up the perfect restaurant to start and it was difficult to decide from the food capital calicut. But i have to pick one and i did go for famous ikkayees restaurant. I ordered beef roast and pathiri( since porotta was not available at that time). Oh God! I realised how dry was my life without beef… that sad truth made me shout “eeshwaraaa!”

My tastebuds were reprised by the flavour of meat, slowly cooked in pepper and coconut oil with bites of coconut. The cook has done it in best way that the meat just melts inside my mouth and with all those flavours it took those meat to vere level. Yes! Beef adhoru vikaramanu!

Days of our lifes

Well, i prefer college days as the days of our lifes. As i look back what strikes me first down on my memory lane will be my college days. I think most of us feel the same. Who doesn’t miss those no mercy ragging? (but after a period of time the one who feared the most will be your best guddy senior😜)

Who doesn’t miss those never ending DOS lectures and tries to bunk as hell as you could?

Who doesn’t miss those late morning rush to college and if you didn’t make it just hangout somewhere else or go sleep in room?

Who doesn’t miss the one and only choriyan(irritator) of the class and his unsahikyable(unbearable) choriyals(irritation)?

Who doesn’t miss those never ending chit chats in studio even you have got loads to do?

Who doesn’t miss those rain clouds pouring cats and dogs all over and can be seen far away from the studio?

Those were the days of our lifes.
